Although perhaps not as impressive (to some) as other lighthouses, Old Mission Point has finally opened and is worth the drive up from the Traverse City area. I often visit this park. The lighthouse, sandy beach, rocky beach, woods, lakeshore...all are so beautiful. Especially I like to say that the tip which separate west and east arm of Grand Traverse Bay. We can walk through the long tip and even through water far away from the lighthouse. More
