The West Chop Lighthouse is on private property so you can only see from the road. With that said the area is beautiful and a lovely place to ride bicycles and take in the lighthouse. The streets are shaded, roads relatively flat, and seeing the lighthouse is a bonus.

Near Vineyard Haven, this lighthouse is another place you can go to in Martha's vineyard. However, you can't go inside, it's government-manned lighthouse.

While I love seeing this light, take a car to see it. The light is owned by the UCG and no tours are available. The bus will be around every 1.5 hours.

no place to park,, but nice view, can take pictures but run by the uscg so you cant get inside

always fun to visit, makes a great place to walk to and best of go at sunset it is even better

My wife and I spend a long weekend there last october. The house is old but in decent shape. My big problem was the bathroom, it needs some TLC, or even better gut it. Property is right on the ocean. We had a great time visiting the various towns that make up Marthas Vineyard.

The lighthouse area had a No Trespassing sign on the fence, so we just stopped to take a quick picture. There is, however, a nice pull-off area with a bench for sitting, just around the bend. A nice place to watch the boats.
