Just a wonderful place to visit to get a real idea of what the cape looks like and how really big and beaufiful it is. Plenty of parking and lots to do once your inside.

there are movies inside on the history and geology of the area, plus the rangers give out maps and info on hiking. Also the center has 3 levels with balconies for great views. We got in a hike to a Lifeguarding museum. More info on that in my Cape Cod National Sea Shore review.

The Province Lands Visitor Center commands some of the most beautiful views on the Cape. The panorama of the dunes is spectacular. Very informative exhibits in the center.

Wanted a room close by the whale pier. We were set up in the perfect place to stay. We were in walking distance to the ship and saved the $30. parking fee. Kudos ladies!!

The short movies they show are definitely worth watching. We saw two of them - one about shipwrecks around Cape Cod and another about the ever-changing land mass of Cape Cod.

My fiance and I came here to get our beach bonfire permit for Herring Cove beach. I've been here several times before but I'm always impressed with the visitor center. There is usually a ranger on staff who can tell you a lot of information about the area. They usually have free movies running every 20 minutes or so with... More

The best place on the cape for great views. One flight of stairs up and you have a beautiful 360 degree panorama. Also a great learning center.

I’ve been to several beaches and different streets or boardwalk areas. I love areas where the shops are unique, artsy and ecliptic. P-town has kind of lost this charm with too many t-shirt shops and too much emphasis on “pride”…it’s a beautiful beach town but not charming. The roads were very narrow; however, they were not blocked off to accommodate... More

We have always had such great experiences with the National Park Service and this was no exception. We have always found the parks and infrastructure to be well maintained the Rangers and volunteers to be so professional and knowledgeable. This visitors center was no exception. Stop and visit , if there is ot a movie showing that day, ask the... More
