Located in the lobby of the Smith College Art Museum, this delightful space is a haven after (or before) a tour of the museum space. Light snacks that are always fresh and tasty. You will enjoy both! More

Wow free admission the day I visited - and what a treat! The collection is impressive and well displayed. Check out the small gift shop - prices were pretty reasonable and there are some lovely items. More

This is a college art museum of the highest quality. It has an exceptionally wide range in its collection from antiquity to ultra modern. It's size is just right, and the building is very pleasant. The staff are helpful. For anyone interested in art, this is a local "must." More

A wonderful collection of American and European Art however the trip was spoilt by the over zealous and child-unfriendly gallery attendants. I would go, but leave your small children behind - they clearly are not welcome. More

Here were some of the features of the museum we particularly appreciated as a family with young children when we visited: 1. affordable ticket price 2. very welcoming and friendly staff 3. wide range of time periods represented (e.g., one of our children loved the ancient Egyptian Annubis sculpture while another enjoyed a contemporary painting of a donut) 3. you... Smith and its alums have the $$$ to invest in world-class art. Even the benches and the bathrooms are art works. Admission is free on "Northampton Arts Night Out" the second Friday of every month from 5 to 8 p.m., but well worth the $5 admission. The Rufino Tamayo mural is one of my favorite pieces. More

A great collection of art, best part is the impressionist part. Check the bathroom downstairs. More

We were very impressed with this gem of a museum. They have a good collection of Impressionist work, my personal favorite, but I found almost all of the exhibits to be very pleasing and/or interesting. The entry fee of $5 for adults is a great bargain. An added bonus is the ability to take photographs of items in their collection,... More
