We usually try to go every year to see James Taylor and/or other artists. It's really a beautiful place to relax and have a picnic. It does get crowded, but it's not too bad if you get there on the early side. It gets very crowded on the lawn in front of the stage so we sat further out where... More

We go to Tanglewood as often as possible -- and definitely whenever someone comes to visit from out of town. Sitting on the Lawn on a beautiful summer evening with a picnic dinner is an unforgettable experience. Big concerts aren't the only thing going on though: The Seiji Ozawa Theater (which also opens up to a small lawn area) is... More

For the past few years, a bunch of us have been going to see James Taylor, this year Jackson Browne is coming. We bring blankets, small low table, candelabra, wine, beer, water, cheeses, and more. We make a whole day of it. The evening ends with the best firework show i have ever seen. A must see!!!!!

If you have a chance get a Shed ticket. The lawn is pointless if you want to hear the music. People show up to say they have been to Tanglewood. So enjoy the wonderful music, but do it from inside the Shed.

We were lucky enough to get to see James Taylor and his special guest Taylor Swift. I had heard so much about Tanglewood but I didn't know what to expect. We had seats in the shed so we did not bring a picnic. So many people got there very early and set up blankets and chairs and had lovely picnics.... More

Beautiful venue in the Berkshires and lovely way to enjoy an afternoon or evening in the summer. I have gone to popular artist concerts, classical music concerts as well as rehearsals and enjoyed them all equally, whether sitting on the lawn or in the shed.

Outside under a gorgeous summer sky with your favorite friends, wine, food and beautiful classical music filling the air. It was a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to return for more concerts.
