We go there to watch the sunset, and water fowl. My wife and I enjoy any where there is water and wildlife.

Paine's Creek landing is known across Cape Cod as a spectacular place for sunsets (spring and summer only). Tons of birds, and waving seas of golden seagrasses make this a great place to take a walk. The beach was not crowded - of course it was October - and there is a wall of big rocks to walk on if one doesn't like loose sand.

I grew up on this beach and have been coming back for 60 years. My children and grandchildren play and swim here. I do feel that the addition of the Kyaks and lack of parking is not friendly to the families and elders who do not Kyak. This is not the beach i remember.

We go to Paine's Creek every year we visit the Cape. High tide makes the creek almost like a lazy river. Low tide is fun for finding sea critters. You need to buy a parking pass from the Brewster town hall if you are driving here. This time, a local woman told me that the water coming into the creek... More
