I don't go here often, but when I do, I always wonder why I don't visit more. Super gorgeous (and generally not too crowded)!

A very nice park with trails to walk or bike on. A beaver dam in the pond is a high point. There are labels to identify the local flora. A nice way to spend the afternoon. There is also beach access nearby.
Think before you make a long trip to come here off-season. The "parking area" just outside the gates off Bayview road accommodates 6-8 vehicles. They offer a changing area as well as toilets (without running water). We also used the rinse station so we could rinse off the salt water & sand....

First visit after reading some reviews. First the price to get in was high...2 adults, 2 young children $14......really??? There was nice parking and then a short walk through a woods trail to the beach. Beach is as long as the eye could see and there is plenty of space to set up your blankets and chairs. Water was nice...
