It brings you back a step in time when men were men and the work was hard and they could move mountains when you threw in a couple of good horse teams!! You can actually feel what it was like as they have the camps set up as if you werre there getting ready to head out with your axe... More

Very nice job showing the history of the Rangeley are and logging. Great pictures and nice folks there to help.

Well made and new building and a good history of the area. Very cheap to get in and worth your time if you enjoy history.

Visiting the museum takes you back to the days of honest hard working folks without all the modern tools of todays logging operations. Very informative.

The Rangeley Lakes region also offers dog sled rides at the Rangeley Lakes Cross Country Ski area. Contact Carol in the Yurt at the ski center and she will help set up the ride.
