Reasonably priced $59 weekends, holidays, $49 weekdays, had a Groupon coupon and paid $30 each. Great views, good grooming and snowmaking, base lodge had reasonably priced food, wood fireplace, lots of locals and season pass holders who are loyal to the place. Only complaint were slow lifts, in cold weather this would not be fun.

We have skiied here often but this is the first time I have needed emergency services after a fall on Tightline. The ski patrol who responded were very professional and capable. I was expertly splinted on the steep slope and quickly brought down the mountain by sled. The skiing was fantastic, .too.

We only drove up to the mountain and took a few pictures. Really nice views!

The lodge is very nice and the scenery is beautiful. The resort offers lots of special deals and activities for the whole family. Lots of value for very reasonably priced lift fees. The staff is so friendly and helpful that you'll know them by name before you leave.
Ask for one of the two Tylers in the rental shop, Kat...

Our family has been skiing Saddleback since the kids were barely able to stand on skis. I have been skiing and boarding since I was 8. Every year we look forward to our trip here. It is a big mountain with terrain for every type of skier, but has so far managed to stay family-friendly and avoid over-commercialization.

Great to see individual owners respecting the...

If, like me, you love skiing and have been lucky enough to ski at various North American mountains, you've probably noticed that many ski areas are starting resemble each other. The runs and verticals change but the experience of the lift lines, the base lodge, the commercialism, the prices are very similar. Saddleback breaks the mold.
Every ski area's most...

Saddleback Ski Area Rocks. This mountain has the quickest lift lines, the hardest expert trails and the cheapest tickets for a big mountain in New England. Get there before they close on April 20th.

There are many ski resorts to choose from in the Northeast. In Maine, there's Sugarloaf and Sunday River but the one that is not on everyone's radar YET is Saddleback. In Vermont and Mass. there's Killington, Stowe, Sugarbush, Okemo, Mt. Snow, Jay Peak, Attitash, Cannon, Bretton Woods, Loon and Stratton. Without question, the best overall experience is Saddleback.
