Marshall Point Lighthouse is a great stop on a trip to coastal Maine. This lighthouse had a different look and feel, and the Forrest Gump connection made us want to see it in person. So many lighthouses, so little time. More

This is a beautiful spot! A lot of people don't know about it so maybe I shouldn't review it and give it away! My father was born in Port Clyde. I love the history section in the museum. A great place to have a picnic! Forrest Gump discovered this and you should too! More

The Marshall point lighthouse presents a dramatic vista against a sunset of coastal Maine. The museum had closed when we got there, but this looks like a great place to have a picnic. Definitely worth the drive down to Port Clyde. More

This is a beautiful spot and an opportunity to see a Maine lighthouse up close. I have been coming to Maine for many years and highly recommend a visit to the Marshall Point Light. The scenery and opportunity for pictures is spectacular and the experience will leave you with many beautiful memories. More

Off the beaten path but the views out over the islands will stay with me for a lifetime. Plan a picnic lunch with time to meditate and fill your soul. More

My husband and I visited this lighthouse in the beginning of August. It was very pretty and interesting. The caretakers there were very enjoyable to talk with about the area and had alot of information and facts to share with us. The gift shop is very cute and they have alot of wonderful items for sale at great prices. I... More

It is like going to heaven. The veiw is breathtaking, it is in the warmest and friendliest town I have ever been in. The breeze off the water, the boats off to their destinations and returning home is very exciting. The veiw is never the same.
