Being from the Heart of Dixie, I've been able to run down to the sugar-white beaches on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico often so it really is hard to give cudos to other beaches after staying on the Gulf BUT this is a great beach for New England so GO!
There's a whole different vibe when walking the beach on a sunny winter day. The parking lot is free and empty, and you'll only see a few other hardy souls. Dress warmly and enjoy the fresh air!

September is the time to go to Ogunquit. there are people around and the traffic is not bad at all. the streets are a wonderful place just to sit and watch others
Must stop by and eat, and of course, shop! So pretty sitting down by the water and watching all the boats go by.
The walk form our hotel was 10mins away enjoyable nice shops and places to eat and drink very clean and the people were very helpful if any questions or recommedations
