Johnny had a 'put together' group called the Pour Fools. But they were all great musicians and thier music made for a great night. It is a neat old venue that just made for a fun evening.

We have visited Boothbay Harbor twice a year for over 25 years, but never had the pleasure of attending a performance at the Opera House. The building itself is a joy; 3 stories tall, the main floor consisting of a seating area and stage, the second wrap-around balcony with good view of the stage, and a third floor hall with... More

John was great. He told his tales from the sea accompanied by his photos and songs he had written. he played with guitar, celtic instruments and was a great experience. We loved it.

You never know who will appear at the Opera House. Check out the schedule of events and stay at the Tugboat Inn, make it a night to remember. What a treat for such a small town. They are very lucky to have this venue for events. Plan ahead so you don't miss out on seeing the show of a lifetime... More

This is such a wonderful place for a show/concert/play! I have been here several times for different venues and it's such a nice atmosphere. never too crowded, even in the balcony.
