What a beautiful place. The forest is incredible and the accomodidations are wonderful. This is a great place to stay the night, hike, rock climb, swim, canoe or just hang out by the pool. The balcony view will give you a feeling of being a part of the forest. More

Lots to do here for the whole family. Has a community pool, paddleboats, camping, the lodge and restaurant and the most spectacular wonder--The Natural Bridge. I really like Kentucky Natural Bridge better than the one in Virginia. Not as commercialized. Wonderful sky lift to the top and only 10 dollars round trip. More

Family meets here every year. They have cabins to accomodate everyone as well as a lodge. We rent a meeting hall in the lodge to have our big "get-together" but eat from the buffet and enjoy everything around. If in the area, Red River Gorge is well worth just driving through, if you are not up to hitting some of... More

Actually, there is more than one 'natural bridge' in the area of this park. You can hike up to the most famous one, or ride a two-person lift from the bottom of the hill. There are several other activities around, and the food is delicious. The technology in the resort needed updating when we visited (weak cell phone signal and... More

Natural Bridge is beautiful and has great hikeing. My husband and I had our first date there. We attempted to stay there for our Honeymoon, but found our cabin to completely infested with spiders. We killed 10 within a 2 hour period, some poisionous, all significantly large. The manager, "Nancy", at Scenic Cabins said they had just sprayed for insects... More

We took a recent family trip to this area and spent a couple of days in and about Natural Bridge State Park. It's a beautiful area to visit with lots of cliffs, canyons, valleys, etc. We took the Skylift to the top of the mountain to the Natural Bridge. There are a couple of trails you can take to the... You can actually get close enough to the cliff's edge that you can fall off. Where else can you get this experience outside of Kentucky? The hotel is a bit seedy, but adequate and affordable. More

Maybe a chair lift to the top of the neighboring ridge, where you can see the Natural Bridge, isn't the most authentic and natural way to do things but it sure was appreciated by us. The chair lift is surprisingly quiet, smooth, and not a half bad way to see the surrounding area. Save your legs for the 30 to... More
