I have been before for the Derby. I took the wife out to see it for her first time. We caught the last race live and then watched the Preakness on the big screens. I wish we would have gotten there earlier.
When in Kentucky, you need to see Churchill Downs. We had a company function in the Stakes room. The dining room was fantastic and we had the best time. The buffet food was of extremely high quality, and they let us take the drink glass home, so we could remember the event. The ladies in the betting booth were more...

My first time in at the Races and I had a blast! We spent the morning there. Perfect place for a drink and some amusement. We bet and won $10!! Great atmosphere and very nice bar and stores. We had a great time with friends!
Always good to watch the races and enjoy a nice mojito. You can enjoy watching the horses run,go there for Derby, or for Thunder over Louisville. Each event is a lot of fun.

If you are visiting Louisville, go to the track. The feeling you get walking these historic grounds is chilling. To know that you walked the same paths as so many famous people is worth the trip. It is historic and the ambieance is reflective. Best advice is if you are going for the Derby or Oaks, remember you go for...

Unbelieveable!! We had the best fun even in the rain. The crowd was great and the Mint Juleps worth the money and you get a nice glass to keep.
