The excitement of watching a horse race at Churchill Downs was one that I won't forget! Wish I had more time to place some bets.

I have been before for the Derby. I took the wife out to see it for her first time. We caught the last race live and then watched the Preakness on the big screens. I wish we would have gotten there earlier.

When in Kentucky, you need to see Churchill Downs. We had a company function in the Stakes room. The dining room was fantastic and we had the best time. The buffet food was of extremely high quality, and they let us take the drink glass home, so we could remember the event. The ladies in the betting booth were more... More

Took several here on Millionaires Row for the buffet and a day of racing. The tickets were $35.00. The buffet was vey generic. Meat loaf that I'm sure came from a food service. Pork chops that were just bad. There were a lot of children there, and Churchill Downs welcomes them. However, there was very little food that a child... More

Churchill Downs was built 10 years after the Civil War. Racing is a part of Kentucky heritage. No, I did not attend the race....way to many people for me. Instead my sister and I went after the Derby and were not disappointed. I have loved horses since I was a small child and the opportunity of being close to them... More

My first time in at the Races and I had a blast! We spent the morning there. Perfect place for a drink and some amusement. We bet and won $10!! Great atmosphere and very nice bar and stores. We had a great time with friends!

Always good to watch the races and enjoy a nice mojito. You can enjoy watching the horses run,go there for Derby, or for Thunder over Louisville. Each event is a lot of fun.

This is a slice of history. Don't miss the tour. Even if horse racing is of little or no interest to you it's worth seeing. As for the races, some had as few as four horses. You get to see them run by for two seconds and you watch the screen for the other two minutes of each race. When... More

If you are visiting Louisville, go to the track. The feeling you get walking these historic grounds is chilling. To know that you walked the same paths as so many famous people is worth the trip. It is historic and the ambieance is reflective. Best advice is if you are going for the Derby or Oaks, remember you go for... More

Unbelieveable!! We had the best fun even in the rain. The crowd was great and the Mint Juleps worth the money and you get a nice glass to keep.
