We enjoyed the tour and information provided. It is a short but informative tour. It's a bit out of the way but worth finding. They provide information on Polish influences on the area. A great time on a rainy day.

Went at Christmastime when all the festive decor was present. That added an extra dimension. The history here is exceptional. I grew up in KCK and have lived in the area all my life,so some local history was very well received. a unique experience

We toured the museum and culture center over the holidays and enjoyed the beautiful nativities that adorned the chapel. We began our tour in the chapel with our guide giving us a brief introduction on the history of the chapel, how the orphanage came into being and the history of the museum and culture center. The tour was very informative,... More

The guided Christmas tour puts a special touch to this preservation of a turn of the century lifestyle where eastern Europe's oldest culture of immigrants settled. The "Strawberry Hill" area of Kansas City, KS still remains a living ethnic, largely Croatian, community. The museum is open Saturdays and Sundays, but try to do it in the Christmas season when the... More
