Took my son and a friend on labor day to this waterpark. After paying a pretty hefty fee to get into the water park I discovered that there were very few "free" tubes to ride on. Many patrons were standing at the end of the water rides hoping to grab a Tube that some other patron finally decided to give...

This water park is pretty new to the area. It is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends. It is extremely popular and, as all water parks, can become very crowded. The grounds are laid out nice with a lot of parking areas, shaded and not shaded areas, picnic areas and you really get to have some of your...

I took a group of teenagers for the day. Got there early and played hard all day. We usually go once a year as it is pricey but well worth it.
I really enjoy the wave pool. The park was clean and the staff was polite. The rides were scary fun!! an the lines moved pretty fast.

Yes, this place is pricey but we felt it was worth it. Food is not good but that's a waterpark for you. They need more chairs and more shade - especially in the sandy area. On a busy day, there is no shade to be found. Otherwise, I found the guards attentive and all of the rides are great.
It was the end of the season, so my family and I expected the park to be full.. but we were unprepared for what happened. When we got in we couldn't find a single beach chair to sit in... there simply was not enough for the amount of people in the park. we noticed that there were more people WALKING...

My family and I have been to this park three times this summer and have had nothing but fun every time. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the place is clean, the food is good at reasonable prices, and the rides are family friendly.
I was watching PBS with my five year old son and an episode of Explore Illinois came on. It featured Raging Waves. It was a toss up between Magic Waters and Raging Waves, but I thought Illinois' largest waterpark would deliver. Wrong!
For starters, where is te advertisement? I live nearly 3 hours downstates and we saw no signs at...
