I used to love this small version of Chicago's childrens museum but it has gotten run down and dirty with little effort put into keeping it up~please repair and clean it up. It has awesome exhibits and is a great hour for little ones..

The Discovery Center is a great museum for the whole family! Kids, teens and adults alike will find their day filled with fun and learning as they discover the various exhibits, events and activities! Located along the beautiful Rock River, you can enjoy the museum and two others (Art museum and Burpee Natural History) in a day filled with fun!

This is an absolute must do with kids! It's a hands on museum full of all kinds of great fun! The kids learn while testing, trying & seeing how things work. There is also a huge play area in the back. It's a must do for the area!

Always a good time with the little ones. The only bad thing is you can't take little kids into the planetarium shows. I think the age limit is like 10. Other than that it can be a little difficult to get to if you don't know your way around Rockford. Been a member for 3 years. Well worth it. 80$... More

A great reason to go downtown. If you have young ones 12 and under make sure you stop by some afternoon. They are tons of interactive things to do and lots to look at and experience. One of the few pluses for Rockford.
