My first time in this zoo, and it was unforgetable. For me it was very relaxing time with my wife and cousins.Dolphin show, simple, but nice. The animals were healthy. All the green areas very well mantained. The food stations a bit pricey, but what can I do ?....Overall, everything was pretty, nice time

You may ask why I keep going to this zoo if its so bad.......paid for a yearly membership and figure I might as well get my money out of it. But I feel very bad for people visiting the zoo who are not members. It will cost you $40 just to get in and park and there are loads of... More

I have been going to this zoo for years as a kid and student. I recently went as a parent so maybe that needs to be considered. As a child, I LOVED THIS PLACE! As a parent, my enthusiasm has waned a bit. The cost is OK to get in, but the additional costs for 'extras' can really start to... More

We love the Brookfield Zoo. We try to go every year since there is always new things to see here. The animals are always in good condition and healthy. They have added a new feature for tickets it is called the Zopper Fun pass. You buy your ticket for the year and it comes with your admission for the year... More

We go to a lot of zoos. Every city we visit that has a zoo, we go. Brookfield Zoo is by far one of our favorites. It has a beautiful park like setting. It is large and spread out, so wear comfortable shoes. We loved that a lot of the exhibits were placed higher so that you were more eye... More

I recommend 100 times Lincoln Zoo better and the admission is free, Brookfield Zoo charge $15 per Person, and if you really want to see and animal you must pay extra! to see any of the shows. walking along the park all I found is empty windows with a sign telling you that were temporally close, other ones just empty... I used to love brookfield zoo. it's very large so be prepared for a lot of walking if you have really young kids or people with mobility issues this might not be a good choice. admission and parking costs are extra then they start tacking on extra costs for the extra exhibits, dinosaurs, extreme bugs, butterflies, extra. It's not cheap... More

wounderful place to go on a cool day! they have builds to go into in case rains where good walking shoes! This zoo is big alot to cover! If you have small children then Lincoln may be a better choice! small and easy to get around. Good idea to bring either a picnic lunch or snacks & drinks. Food is... More

Traveled here with my wife and two of my kids (2 & 5). We showed up at 9:15am, 15 minutes before the zoo opened. We got front row parking in the south parking lot. The first hour and a half it was barren and we had the zoo nearly to ourselves, this was fantastic. The dinosaurs alive exhibit was a... More

be prepared for a long day of walking and seeing the animals throughout this huge park-like zoo. it's a great place for families and everyone who loves animals. kids can go into the children's zoo and pet the animals. it's fun and there are plenty of benches to plop down on to relax.. go have fun.
