We had such a pleasant afternoon on the boat with Rene touring the Tybee waterways, seeing lots of birds, dolphins and a shark! AND hunting for cool fossils!

Through word of mouth while planning a trip to Tybee Island I heard about Sundial Charter Tours and booked a three hour boat trip with Captain Rene. I informed the good captain that my husband & I enjoy bird spotting and Rene focused on our interests including a stop at Little Tybee to hunt for unusual shells. Captain Rene is... More

Excellent day on the salt marsh!!! Captain's Dave and Rene are so knowledgeable and experienced! Their boats are clean, and comfortable. I booked the tour for 8 12 year old girls who absolutely loved the pristine beaches, the wildlife, and the noncommercialism. They learned so much and had so much fun they didn't even realize they were learning!! An awesome... More

My mother, daughter, and I just came back from our trip to Savannah and we chartered the Little Tybee Hop tour on Saturday morning with Renee and her husband. We enjoyed it so much- it was just beautiful and they were a lot of fun. We got some great shells. We didn't get to see the dolphins, but it certainly... More

I cant believe how many times we have been to Tybee and never went to LIttle Tybee. Some friends of ours told us we had to go and we had to have Captain Renee take us. They were very right. Renee is very knowledgeable about the area and entertained us and our 4 year old equally. Of course, we cant... More

My husband and I live in the Savannah area and cannot believe how much we learned from this tour. Bennett was awesome and very knowledgeable about the local wildlife. The highlight of the trip was the very end when we finally found some dolphin. We will definitely come back for some fishing this summer! -Brandi Doumite

Tybee Unplugged is a great way to meet some weird and unusual beach dwellers. Rene knows who lives on Little Tybee and we're not talking about human beings. Some of its residents look like creatures from outer space. We took a winter trip to Little Tybee and got up close and personal with sand dollars, sponges, jellies, soft corals, anemones,... More

Another amazing trip with Captain Rene of Sundial Charters! On an exceptionally beautiful February day we went out to Little Tybee for a sunset cruise. What we found was far more than we expected. The Snowy Owl, who is far away from it's home in the super cold Canadian climate, was standing on the beach making many seagulls mighty nervous.... More

In January my husband and I took the Tybee Island Unplugged tour. It was just the two of us, plus Captain Rene of course. What a wonderful experience! We combed the unique Georgia salt marshes in search of wildlife and knowledge then went beach combing on Little Tybee. We were the only ones on the island. We collected shells and... More

Mandy - It always makes us happy when the people on our trips have as much fun as we do. That super pod of dolphin that you referred to seems to be sitting out the winter just off Little Tybee. Hope to see you again, and thank you for the best valentine a girl can get, a five star review.... More
