Helps bring sad reality to the Civil War. Go and try to count the head stones you will leave sadder but wiser.

Nice walking thru the gravesites and looking at names and dates. Well maintained and just "feels special" to experience this treasure. Try it sometime.

One whole generation of the South's best and brightest young men were laid to rest in this cemetery. They were determined, brash and brave and who died fighting for Southern rights, way of life and for pride. This all happened almost 149 years ago. Today, while walking down its paths, you can still feel their spirit, hopes and their joie... More

A well maintained memorial for those fallen in battle, this cemetery is host to several services throughout the year. A tour through history and a great way to trace family lineage and dates. This is not far off of the Square proper and is a fitting resting place for those who fought on both sides. My grandchildren were amazed by... More

This is a large and sprawling cemetery honoring the many lives that were sacrificed during the Civil War on both sides. One cannot help but be moved by the lines and lines of headstones, names, and ages of the dead.

What a neat, historical place to take children. It was a very moving experience for our entire family. Be sure to walk around and check out the whole cemetery.

It's not much more than just a cemetary. There are a number of older gravestones but, as I said above, unless you know who and where you're looking for, skipping this as a destination would probably be best.

This is a great old cemetary. Lots of interesting photo ops. The local boy scouts put up flags at every grave and the result is really quite dramatic. it's worth visiting if cemeteries are your thing (or it's Memorial Day)!
