This is one of the largest model train railroads in the country. There are so many facts and figures, it dwarfs one's imagination. It is set up to portray all the surrounding towns in the North Georgia area, including the well-known Georgia Mountain Fair. I've been there three times and always notice some detail that I hadn't seen before. GO!

I would never have expected anything like this when we headed to see this highly acclaimed model railroad display. The detailed planning that went in to this HUGE working model train display (10 trains running all over the tracks when we were there) is incredible. A labor of love for the grand kids has now opened to the public for... More

What an amazing place. My boys loved to walk so close to the bridges, water, trains, etc. It was worth the extra drive to drive there. There is so much detail that is used with every scene. Really take your time going through it!!!

Truly amazing display. I was not thrilled about seeing what I thought was going to be "another " model railroad. This one, you walk right through it. You need more than one trip around to see everything. All proceeds go to various charities in the communities.

A superbly done railroad layout that features bridges and tunnels through which the O-gauge model trains run. They pass by state capital, stone mountain, a civil war battle in progress, ice skaters, a tobogan run, a swamill, numerous historic homes and county courthouses. But the first item you pass by is a model circus big top and everything around it.... More

Made three trips to see the model railroad. First trip we missed the 2:00P window. The second trip we found it closed early. The grandson told us to come back the next day, that they would be open anytime from 2P to 4P. We returned at 2:20P the following day and were told that an antique car club had booked... More

A wonderful place to take children and adults will love it, too. You experience this model railroad on many different levels and it's a real treat.
