No fishing liscense needed! $4 per vehicle and $4 pp to fish for the day! It was about $20 pp for the poles and bait.

Take a stop on the fishing pier or rest stops to look back at the bridge and get some fantastic photos. The bridge graces the skyline.

You cannot fail to be in awe of this. It is good to stop and go on the old bridge, where the fishermen go, so interesting and you can take in all the sites.

Crossing the Sunshine skyway Bridge is really exciting. The view is breathtaking, water, water, water as far as your eyes can see! Then suddenly...there is people fishing on the pier....so fun to see. The sunset is beautiful if you are passing at this time....beautiful Florida!

Unfortunately some drivers also what to take in the views which REALLY slows down traffic! If you've got any semblance of acrophobia, drive in the left lane and don't look down (but maintain speed)!

Nice looking bridge. Great views of the region, the gulf...a cruise ship if you time it right... Fun bridge to ride under in a boat too. Many people are afraid of the bridge which seems pretty insane to me.

This bridge has a great view and you can fish off the piers that used to be part of the old bridge. My family really enjoys crossing this bridge when we visit Tampa on vacaction.

what a view of Tampa Bay from the top of this bridge. Don't miss it if you are in town. not always crazy about heights but in this case it is so open you can enjoy all the sides of the bay. i love watching huge ships pass under the bridge.
