This church is lovely outside and inside. It was built as a memorial to Henry Flagler's daughter and granddaughter. There is a brochure with a self-guided tour of the inside and also a docent on duty to answer any questions. They request a donation of at least $1 per person to assist with the upkeep of the beautiful building. Very... More

Henry Flagler was a prominent developer of Florida. The St. Augustine Presbyterian church was built with his support and houses his family mausoleum. This church was one on many that he help develop in St. Augustine.

when you see this impressive church and hear about how it was built in less than 1 year - amazing - be sure if you are visiting St Augustine to hop off the tour train at Memorial Pres and see it

This is a fine old church building with a still active congregation. The design and construction are amazing, impressive by any standard. No admission fee, but donations accepted. Read the pamplet, and hopefully you will also be able to hear the story from the Docent.

We are still marveling about the founder and history of this church. There is so much to see in St. Augustine, we want to return very soon. The entire city is second to none!! We had NO fear of walking around town in the day or night. Few cities can boast this!!

We really loved this building. It's architecture was wonderful. It was closed the day we were there so we look forward to going back to visit the inside.

This gorgeous church was built by Flagler as a memorial to the daughter and grandchild he lost in childbirth. The tombs of both members of his family are enshrined inside. The stained glass is fabulous, and the fact that this huge building was finished in one year leaves the visitor staring in amazement. Must see.

This gorgeous building was just an amazing sight, even though inside tours were closed on the day we visited, we enjoyed taking pictures of the structure itself.
