We are not open to the public, except for two-hour tours, reserved in advance. Tours are held in the afternoon, usually on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 2pm. Email as far in advance as possible to make reservations. Requested minimum donation is $25 per person; children 10 and under are admitted for a minimum donation of $15. We may be able to schedule a tour on a different day, if we know far enough in advance. Guests will be given a guided tour of the 7-acre animal compound by an experienced wildlife professional. An introduction to each species, basic biology, and how the species arrived at our sanctuary will be discussed in detail. Visitors will be allowed a close up view of the exotic animals. Although we do not allow handling of any of the Reserve’s animals, guests will be able to venture closer to adult African lions than they ever imagined. Also on the tour will be our amazing white tigers, Angel, Krishna, Toruk and Chakra, several orange tigers, cougars, servals, lynxes, leopards, hyenas, coati mundis, and a host of wolves ranging in color from black to white. We also have an enormous bird collection, which includes African turacos, conures, macaws, Amazon parrots, and even parakeets, cockatiels, doves, quail and finches. We feed all of the big cats on the tour, and set up a tiger bubblebath for one pair of tigers. Please come visit us for a wonderful wildlife experience! « less

It was amazing to see all the cats up close, purring, being petted, but they are WILD animals. I honestly don't know how the volunteers aren't missing apendages. They let the wolves LICK THEIR FACES. NOT DOGS, WOLVES. It was an odd experience. I will not go back, I didn't feel safe. I know they are all volunteers, and the... More

wonderful experience. the roar of the huge tiger is something I will never forget. Best part was going into a lions enclosure. They had a 4mth old cub called Nairobi. He was beautiful. Being able to rub a lions belly is something not many people get to do.

I don't know where to start. Deborah and her crew of volunteers have created a perfect refuge for some very lucky animals. When we visited here, I we were amazed at the LOVE and COMPASSION that these volunteers (uhh yeah- volunteers) have for these wonderful animals. If you think you have had a good animal expirence at a zoo or... More

A must do if you like big cats. Lions, tigers, panthers and many other rescue animals. Tigers take a bubble bath. Great tour of all the animals. 100% nonprofit. The guides do a great job. The cost is minimal for an afternoon of fun. We even got to play with a 5 month old lion cub. So much fun.

Seriously this is such a special and interesting experience. You get to see so many beautiful animals from only a few feet away. You can tell the animals are dearly loved by their caregivers. We opted in for the Cub Encounter and got to play with an extremely rambunctious and adorable lion cub named Nairobi. Meeting Nairobi was the best... More

This is a wonderful tour. It's up close and personal. A great value for the tour you get. I would recommend it to everyone. The animals are well cared for.

This is an amazing place! I personally cringe at the thought of animals kept in a zoo; they always seem either restless or lethargic -- so for a different perspective and experience, THIS reserve is a heartwarming, educational, aweseome experience for family, friends, and children! Dollar for dollar, for my money and feeling "good" after seeing wild animals such as... More

As the previous reviewer said, this is an amazing experience that you cannot get at a zoo. You get up close and personal with lions, tigers, wolves, and other exotic animals. Not sure how long this will last, but there was also an optional experience at the end where you get to get into a cage with a lion cub... More

It was a very informative tour. Not a good tour for very young children though. You are not allowed to take pictures but, they have a disk of 120 plus taken by a pro,for only $5.It was well worth the money. This was better than going to a zoo.

The animals look well. They don't give the impression like in most zoo to be contained. Anyway this is a must see. Tigers and lions never look at natural. It really worth the admitting price. You better reserve during rush period or week-end. You'll be sure to get in.
