This sanctuary is totally run by volunteers and funded by donations. There were hundreds of birds here which otherwise would not have survived due to illness/injury. It is a tribute to the people who work here that so many are returned to the wild each year. This is worth a visit. More

Octagon is run by volunteers who care for these rescued animals. They have tigers, lions, bears, fox, birds, etc.. You are able to get closer to the animals here than at most zoos. There are many areas to sit and relax and picnic (you have to bring your own food but you can purchase drinks) if you want. More
