This a great beach, bring your snorkel and swim out to the rocks for some awesome views of sea creatures and beautiful fish. Great beach for shell collecting as well and not as busy as Panama City Beach!

We love St. Andrew's because the water is always calm there and the kids can play in the gulf while we're at ease not worried about the tide or waves or anything. Also, it seems to have a lot of exotic to see more than the average beach, sea shells, hermit crabs and if you bring a basic snorkel set,... More

I am a local in Panama City and enjoy the beaches. However, the "kiddy pool" beach area is filthy during the summer when tourist visit. There are smokers everywhere around the children playing and glass, cans, plastic, cigarette butts, and dirty diapers littered everywhere. The state park used to be beautiful. Tourists please don't use our beaches as trash cans... More

We visited Shell Island from St. Andrews State Park. We really enjoyed our time there. The only drawback I could see was that you can't take the shuttle back and forth to make bathroom trips. We stayed several hours and that was enough for us, and we found several shells!

We have been camping and visiting This park for over 25 yrs and it is still our favorite. We have camped there for days at a time and we have just driven over to append the day. A gorgeous setting that has it all. The Gulf, the Bay and the "kiddies pool" offer something for everyone. Bring your masks and... More

Yes, pay the $8.00 by car to go in and park. There are many sand dunes with tall sea grasses. Wonderful Lagoon area with many huge black boulders. I saw a cute little girl feeding raccoons there, I do not reccommend doing that. Water and beach is far from hotels, much nicer.

If we come down early and can't get into our hotel yet. We often come over to the beach here. I have been here when no one else is here and when it is crowded. The beach is beautiful and you don't have hi rises in the background! There is a nice bathroom/changing area.

My hub and I have been to PCB 2x & always go to St Andrews state park beach (Jetty Beach) before we go to any other beaches in PCB. For only $8 bucks you get to spend the day in one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Really nice park. So much to do: hike, beach day, snorkel, take ferry out to Shell Island, you can even camp here. Taken care of extremely well. Good signage also, didn't get lost. This is a super nice state park and Florida should be proud.
