During a leisurely stroll through downtown we came across the carousel, which took me right back to Paris :) our friends had children so this was a great and exciting thing for them to do. Since I'm a child at heart I hopped on with them! Take a walk and check it out!

This carousel was a surprise as we wandered our way into Downtown to find Paris in Town Bistro. It was filled with parents and children as well as couples on dates. A nice diversion!

The Carousel would be a five star attraction if it offered a longer ride. The operator is generally unfriendly and the carousel is timed to a very short ride, even if no other children are waiting. It's a lovely design and worth seeing for visitors, but a poor value for repeat riding by locals.

My nephew adores this carousel. The animals are handcarved and brightly painted and have a definite local flair as they include flamingos, seahorses, fish, etc among the basic carousel horses. There is no need to charge so much for a 1 minute ride when there is never a wait and it brings business to the surrounding stores. I like many other moms, would bring my kids here a lot more often if it wasn't so expensive!

Downtown at the Gardens has a beautiful carousel. If you have small children, It is very easy to spend a nice morning (actually any time of the day) riding the carousel and then go have a cup of frozen yogurt at Fro Yotopia.

There is nothing super special about this carousel. It is in the a very nice outdoor mall and gives the kids something to look forward to. If you are dragging them around to shop be sure to reward the kiddo's with a trip to the carousel!
