We've attended a number of productions at the Orlando Shakespeare Theatre. I'm always amazed by what they can do with very simple backdrops. The costumes are always so sumptuous. We've seen everything from "MacBeth" to "Every Christmas Story Ever Told" and each production has been a delight. It's a three-sided theatre, so there isn't a bad seat in the house....

Central Florida only has one visionary company of international note committed to the Bard —but it is a beauty. Working in partnership with the University of Central Florida, Orlando Shakespeare has transitioned over 23 years from a playful band shelter on the bank of the city’s Lake Eola to the lovely Lowndes Shakespeare Center at Loch Haven Park.

Recently saw the latest interpretation of A Midsummer Nights Dream at the OST. Amazing. This is a great venue to see some great works...and I think this is playing until March so get your tickets now!
