A beautiful for some quiet time. The ambience provide a great place for rosary recitation and prayer. Was there to offer thanksgiving prayer for taking me safely to Orlando.
I trust reviews posted on Trip Advisor for many trips and was flabbergasted when I happened to visit my city's page, Orlando, and saw this as the 3rd most popular place to visit. I have passed this place multiple times as it is near the outlets, and I do not know why someone would visit this place while on vacation... More
Not only is the Basillica spectacularly beautiful, but the music is some of the very best you will hear anywhere. The eight-voice choir is made up of current and former Voices of LIberty professional singers from Disney, and they are absolutely unbelievably precise and the musicianship is Metropolitan Opera quality. The worshippers almost always burst into applause after the communion... More
This a beautiful Basilica in the heart of Orlando tourist area, just off Route 4. We have been going here since before the majestic church was built and it just gets better and better each time we go. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with an outdoor rosary walk and Stations of the Cross. The Church itself is breathtakingly beautiful and... More
We've been visiting this amazing place since march last year, on october 2 we came back again to renew our vows and we were very lucky, we did it there! Everyone was kind of shocked in a good way 'cause they don't usually do that! But guess what, we were the first ones to do it! And please if you... More
A very lovely LARGE church, built in 2003. Brightly lit with good sound for Mass, It has a very large parking lot, but causes major traffic snarls as people head out (this in Jan).
We attended Mass on Sunday at 6pm and the church was full. It was inspiring to see so many catholics attending mass during their vacation from all over the world. The church is beautiful, the grounds, museum, and gift shop. I only wished that we had known about it sooner.
We were in Europe last year visiting many famous Catholic Churches along the way. While US churches don't compare in beauty n architecture this is an American church that stands with the best in terms of quiet, calm, n serenity. Modern but spiritual.
Our Church when visiting Disney. Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine Catholic Church is close to Disney. It is perfect to visit on Sunday on the way to the Park (takes about as much time as waiting on one line at Disney and you will have a Blessed day :-).
How wonderful to attend this beautiful church. I love most being able to receive the Sacrament of Penance away from home since a priest is always available. What a great blessing.
