I haven't been here for a couple of years, but there was nothing new to do. There is work going on. Some of the attractions are starting to look old and dated and it's not cheap to go in.

We visited Universal on the 5th May 2013, I had been organised and bought tickets over the web so we could avoid the queues. What I was not aware of was that Harry Potter was NOT in Universal studios he was in Island of Adventure - so we had travelled 4000 miles to see Harry Potter to find we were... More

Something has gone wrong at the old part of Universal. I know that parks have to modernise to keep up with demand, but Disney seems to do this while retaining old favourite rides. Universal seems to have to get rid of these to introduce new ones. Some years ago, they replaced a great ride King Kong with Revenge of the... More

This one is just amazing..No words to describe.. The Hollywood shows were awesome.. 3-D and 4-D movies are just awesome. Terminator, Shrek shows are awesome..Dont forget the quick magic shows on the streets. They are quickie and worth the visit.. You would need 1 full day for this park. Do not ever do a shorter version as you will miss... More

We enjoyed the park in conjunction with Islands of Adventure. Some of the attractions are a little outdated (Twister), but we really enjoyed the Despicable Me adventure.

We spent two days here we loved it so much! The rides are amazingly well constructed and delivered! The Simpsons ride is the most amazing thing I have ever done! It's incredible! Also the mummy is a scream, literally! Take a look behind the scenes and learn how the films are put together in "Twister" and "Disaster" - very impressive.... More

I'm usually a Disney fan, but I must admit, Universal is amazing. Here are my tips if you're going to go: If you're not staying on property valet your car - your feet will thank you at the end of the day. You can save money by staying on sight - the hotels offer the skip the lines tickets (which... More

As a competitor to the Disney type parks, universal has gone all out to try and compete. The complex which includes city walk requires you to park up at a cost of 15 dollars, city walk is free to enter but is entertainment like cinemas, bars and restaurants and a few shops. Tickets are required for universal studios and island... More

Universal is a great theme park especially for tweens, teens and adults. It is meant for a little older audience than DIsney but there is still something for the young ones so parents do not despair. Despicable Me is the newest ride and it truly is an awesome 3D ride. My favourite is the Simpsons another 3D ride and a... More
