I grew up fishing on tthis lake and my Dad hunted in the woods. The Lake and surrounding area is now a State Conservation site. There is only pedestrian access, but if you are interested in becoming acquainted with the REAL natural FL, this is the place. No improvements, or facilities.

There are 2 car parks to enter Buck Lake off of State Road 46. We have done both a few times as we live nearby.
The second further car park is worth using because you can walk about 2 miles and turn off left to find a wooden viewing tower at Buck Lake itself where we have enjoyed watching many...
