I remember going to this place when I was about 10 years old and let me tell you nothing has changed. My family and I didn't have to pay because we went on a day that BOA debit card owners go in free, so at least that wasn't a waste of money, rather a waste of time. The only thing... More

The Miami Museum of science’s staff was so extremely kind and helpful. This Museum is a member of the Bank of America “Museum on us”; which means, with your bank card and an ID you get free admission on the first weekend of every month. Please visit www.miamisci.org for a list of future events. There was ample parking and a... More

The Miami Science Museum is a cute small museum with many interactive pieces. There isn't that boring walking around reading of placards that seems to commonly be the main idea of most other museums. It is very interactive for children, adults, and you can still read a little along the way. There is a marine exhibit with corals and fish... More

Ok, the facility isn't new. But more important it isn't exciting either. The films of Hurricane Andrew's devastation are good, but we really don't learn too much about hurricanes in general. Same with the nano particle exhibit. I left really confused. The exhibit with the fish tanks and growing corals are the best part. Hopefully the new museum will be... More

Even if it's free. Outdated, broken down, rude employees. We went on a free day & it still wasn't worth it. Go to Ft. Lauderdale Museum of of Discovery & Science, or to a regular playground instead.

If you have nothing else to do fine, if not wait til the new science museum opens in 2015!!! Its very old and not updated. Not very impressive. At the end outside they have old, tied up birds in cages.

Visited the museum with my teenage son, not sure if there would be enough here to hold his interest, or whether it would be geared to a younger audience. We were both impressed with the exhibits! If your children enjoy hands-on learning, this is a great place to encourage that. In the hurricane Andrew exhibit hall, your kids can build... More

Hands on, interactive exhibits for children and adults. Educational shows about electricity, the solar system and a wonderful planetarium show. Most educational.

Maybe I'm a bit spoiled; i grew up in Chicago and their Museum of Science and Industry was always fabulous, especially to a young child. This museum in Miami is okay, but not grand. Except for the nightime star exhibit - I forget the name of the room it's shown in.
