This is probably one of the best 7 mile rides you will ever take over water. Remember their are no U-turns on this road you don't stop until you get to big pine key. The colors of the water are aqua and blue. I always slow down when I see people fishing on boats hoping at a chance to watch... More

Beautiful view of the aqua colored water. Can be very hot in the middle of the day, so bring water, sunscreen, and a hat.

What more can I say. This is definitely the place to be between 7-8 pm in May. The sunsets are out of this world!

What a great experience to see huge tarpon, spotted manta rays, dolphins and sea turtles, while enjoying a sunset stroll! Walk a few miles on this lovely bridge and be reminded of the men and history of Flagler rails that created it.

This is a must see while in Marathon, FL. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous! My family visited the week before Mother's Day. All our research before taking our family trip said you must see the sunsets from this bridge and I totally agree! This is a free sight to see and to get to walk along the bridge is an... More

The walk on this bridge is absolutely beautiful!! I think it is a little over two miles each way but at the end you can visit Pigeon Key. We walked it early in the morning to avoid the strong sun, so unfortunately no one was on the island but it was fun wandering around to check it out. You can... More

Sunset was fantastic. During calm days you can see all sorts of sea life including tarpon, rays, sharks etc.

You can walk or bike along the east section of the old bridge, and the water was beautiful, but it was a little monotonous - there's water, water, and more water. And of course it's right next to the new bridge so lots of traffic going by. Didn't see any fish etc. I'd rather spend my time at the beach... More

Make sure you stop for some refreshment at this wonderful café just before the 7-mile bridge (heading South). Recommended in Lonely Planet Guide and did not disappoint - wonderful home made chowder and crab cakes all served by friendly waitress - a great experience! Seven mile bridge a once in a lifetime experience - amazing views of Gulf of Mexico... More

This is a historical, cultural, and ecological landmark. The Seven Mile Bridge defines the Keys and Marathon itself. Take the walk to Pigeon Key in the morning or for sunset and you'll understand why it is so paramount that this iconic bridge be protected. Show up early to take a dog from the shelter for a walk!!
