After 15 years visiting the Keys we thought we would finally try it. It's good once and if your coming in on a ship it will be a hike but worth a try.

Glad we went, last time in KW we didn't have the time. The butterflies are beautiful and numerous. You will not believe your eyes! Make it a point to go there.

On our last day in Key West, we decided to go into the Butterfly and Nature Conservatory. So glad we did. I took more pictures in there then I did the entire trip. If you haven't done this and are going to Key West, put it on the todo list!

The conservatory consists of three rooms: gift shop (really very large), an intro room, and the outdoors. Be sure to spend some time in the intro room (don't know what that is called!). Was there in April. Stayed for a while. Great place to sit, relax and reflect. One problem and its not their fault! The kids! Parents were letting kids run wild. The management was on top of it but still there is only so much they can do. Will def go back!

We've been to Key West numerous times and have never been until this last trip and went at the urging of a local that knew what a treasure it was. What a delight! The "education" room before entering the actual conservatory was very interesting and then when entering the conservatory it was "wow" - totally did not expect the number... More

Gotta check this place......great experience! Beautiful and serene....good value as well! Not sure if I have ever been in a more serene setting, especially given the fact that you are on Duval! Try this....you will not be disappointed.

The butterflies are absolutely magnificent, don't miss this attraction. It is beautiful and serene and if you are lucky they will land on you. Enjoy

My 2 year old loved this place. It is inside, so it is a nice break from the heat. The staff was very nice and the gift shop was great! You can also use a coupon that is on most of there brochures around town.
