I really enjoyed the Audubon House. There isn't much of a tour persay, but the guide meets you when you first enter the house and then he tells you the history of the house & of JJ Audubon, which was quite interesting. And then your on your own to roam the house, which has been beautifully restored! More

The gardens here are beautiful, and the place provides a sweet, quiet oasis away from all of the t-shirt hawking and garish aspects of Key West. The $12 entrance fee, while it might seem steep, helps to keep this place going. (The building was almost torn down in 1958.) While I'm not an ornithologist or major fan of Audubon's drawings... The house is gorgeous. The tour guide was lovely and explained the history of the Geigers and Audubon's significance to the house, very knowledgeable and enjoyable. There isn't too much to do here besides tour the house, which is kind of a staple on Key West, but I don't know if I would recommend it for children. The student rate... More

The house and gardens are interesting but hardly worth the $12 admission charge. More

Get a look at what refined living was like in Key West a century ago. The house is lovely, the gardens beautiful. Very old original prints of Audubon's Florida birds show you what he was doing when he visited the Keys. More

There's a lot of history that revolves around Audubon, but the house is known for its exotic gardens which features plants and trees from around the world. The house is unique and has stood the test of time and represents great architecture for the period. More

The tour is short, but informative. The gardens are beautiful. If you are an art or Audubon lover, it is worth it...otherwise, maybe not. The docent was very knowledgeable, but felt like we were pulling information out of him. He knew a lot more than he included in his speech. More

It's easy to forget you are in the heart of Key West while visiting The Audubon House. The day we visited, the orchids in the garden were in full bloom and gorgeous! We have wanted to stop here for years, and we are so glad we were finally able to. It's well worth stopping here when you are in Key... More
