What an fantastic day! We went with high expectations reading all the reviews and were not disappointed. I was concerned as its just a long day (the best part of 12 hours) but it all goes so fast with so much going on you dont realize you're tired until your finished and back in your hotel. Thanks Garl, we look... More

The Everglades park is a UNESCO heritage site, but we definitely would not have seen its true beauty without a guided tour. What you can see of the Everglades from the visitor centers and roadside is not the same as being inside a cypress dome! And, there is no way we would have felt comfortable trekking into a cypress dome... More

Dear all, so far I have seen a lot of things, but after this tour I was really impressed. Walking in through the water to Aligator Wholes and Kayaking the everglades, enjoing the sunset in the Kayak, a lot of birds, some Alligators and sharks. Everytime I felt safe and is was probably the best expierence I ever had. You... More

Did a full-day Everglades tour with hiking and kayaking. Our guide was fun and had terrific knowledge of the flora and fauna. While many operators are over-priced, Garl's gives you great value. I hope to come back at other times of the year to see the various migrations and seasonal cycling of the ecosystems. I would especially like to see... More

Our full-day guided tour of portions of the Everglades was quite a day (all 12 hours of it!). My husband and I did this tour with our 14 year old son. Great outing for kids. Each kid is different in their interests and abilities, so consider this before taking yours. Folks of all ages should be prepared for and comfortable... More

The reviews speak for themselves. I did the full day everglades trek. You get your money's worth 10x's over. Garl is a small operation, he doesn't take many people so you really feel like you're on a special excursion. He knows his gators and where they like to hang out. We saw gators/snakes/birds/lizards/orchids/bugs. He also will sell you pictures, very... More

Wow. This was quite the experience! Although it seems expensive for the full day, it was jam-packed with activity and we didn't get back to our hotel until after 11 at night. We started the trip at an amazing fruit stand in Homestead to pick up snacks for the day. The food and fruit at the farm stand were amazing... More

We did the full day adventure ( were going to do the half and glad we did not as the night walk was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, period.) The day was going to maybe get rainy/stormy so they changed the order of events based on the forecast so we could get to do everything... More

WOW! My family & I recently did the half day kayaking adventure in the Everglades with Don. It was fabulous!!! Our kids are 11 and 16 and they loved it. We experienced things we've never done and seen things we'll probably never see again. We hiked/paddled and the information and instruction Don provided us was incredible. This trip (and Garl's... Garls was our guide for an exciting day in Everglades National park that combined hiking and Kayaking beginning at 1000 AM and ending at 9:00 pm! Garl introduced us to Gators, crocs, snakes, Roseate spoonbills and other interesting birds, airplants and other interesting plants. He is incredibly knowledgeable and observant so we learned a lot. If we ever make it... More
