Have always traveled to Gulf side of Florida. Never again!!! Once you've been to Hollywood Beach, you never will want to go anywhere else. Laid pack vibe is enhanced by the great food, beautiful water & beaches, boardwalk & overall ambiance. Was there for a week in May 2013, plan on returning annually!!! Great find, like a hidden gem. Great beach. lots of laid back dining options. Parking was not too challenging. Love the Broadwalk and the tiki bars along the way. Hollywood is a great people watching destination!

The beach in front of our hotel was very expansive, clean and not crowded! Beach chairs w/umbrellas were available for rent for $26/day. I don't know if they'd give you a break if you rented for consecutive days or not.

There is a great broadwalk with restaurants and bars, live music and not as crowded as Miami Beach. It is great for families.

Love the broadwalk, the beach and the bandshell concerts! Live near the beach and am fortunate to frequent it. Some mornings we go for the sunrises. A don't miss if you are visiting Hollywood.

I normally prefer the west coast and the white sand beaches of Clearwater or St. Pete Beach. It was a nice surprise to see the large beach and great sands of Hollywood.
