Absolutely horrible horrible experience. My son and I drove 4 hours to visit Gainesville because neither of us had ever been I found this place online, so we went. The young lady at the front door was awesome. We paid to skate and ride go karts. We put money into the locker to secure our stuff both lockers took the money they didn’t work so a nice young man (employee) came over and we moved to a third locker And he put money in so that was okay. Well. So then we went out to skate and we started having fun after trying to get use to the plastic floor , after all we have all been cooped up in our homes since March from the Covid 19 so we really needed some good fun. Well 5 minutes into us skating and laughing some worker approaches me and tells me I’m not aloud to have a hat on. I said well I have spoken to 3 employees in here and no one has said a word about no hats. So basically I was thrown out after only being there 5 minutes. So I was mad. I went to the lady that was working the door who was nice and she called the manager over and that’s what the experience got extra horrible. He said, I’m the manager and I am not refunding your money. I explained that he just watched us walk in 5 minutes ago. I asked who the owners were so I could file a complaint and he said. I’m not telling you. So as I am leaving extremely angry, my son points out on the skating floor to a large male skating on the floor who is wearing a do rag on his head. Funny cause that seems to cover your head just as a hat does. Surely They must have to been to damn scared to mess with that guy cause NO ONE approached him. Interesting!!! DO NOT GO HERE WITH THE INTENT OF HAVING FUN!!!!!!!! Manager is extremely rude and nasty!!!!!!!!

They close the kitchen down whenever they want. Sometimes 2 hours before they close. I work late and when I come to bowl, I want to eat and drink while enjoying myself. They don't care here. They close down what they want whenever. The bar is the only thing they keep open until close. They even shut the arcade down while you're playing, even 15-30 minutes before they close.....WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING!!!

This is at least a once a month trip for my son. He loves the games, putt-putt, and the go karts if it's not too hot!

The kids were having a play date at Funworks and they were so happy. One of my kids could not roller skate but learned how to in a 5 minute lesson. Although, it gets a bit crowded. Some mindless teenagers skate backwards and text bumping into toddlers.

Sub standard arcade area. Makes up for it with large skating rink, miniature golf, go karts, rock climbing, indoor playhouse and jump station. There is also a theater but we did not check it out. Senior and military discounts apply. Right off of I-75.

I brought me there kids and wife out for what I thought was going to be fun drove 100miles and paid 90.00 got inside and was shocked there was very very little arcades nothing like the website said the golf course was terrible hardly any lights so seeing the course was out of the question. Then the skates dont try and get anything over a toddler size 1 in training skates all three kids hated this place and I was very unhappy when they said no refunded after only 30 minutes of being there so once you pay they unlock the door but them its over I begged them for a refund and they refused to give it to me I would never come back

This place has been around since I was a little girl. I think I liked it more before they renovated and moved locations. The food was better, the music they played was better, the atmosphere was laid back and cool and the facilities were cleaner. If your are not picky and can overlook a dirty bathroom and dirty tables, it's a great place to bring the kids for rock climbing, race cars and skating. Especially on a hot summer day. The food is over priced and nasty, so we just leave to eat a snack or play until everyone is hungry. We go a lot during the summer, but it's our only choice in town.

My family and I decided to take a trip to fun works today to enjoy some Go Cart riding and putt putt. When we got there, the first impression I got was the fact that they were "too busy" to speak with a lady about reserving a birthday for her child. The lady then asked if she could speak to a manager about it. The girl called the manager and the manager told her she'd have to come back later. Isn't this a place that makes most of their money on birthdays? Most of the employees were rude and hanging out with each other. I'm pretty sure the only person I saw smile was the girl at the front giving out wrist bands. I asked for skates for my toddler and the guy looked at me like I was crazy. He then just set a pair of skates down and continued to look at me without saying a word. They were too big for my toddler so declined and was still never spoken to. The best time we had was at putt putt because we could do that ourselves. The one complaint would be the debris and old Coke cans in the bushes. But whatever. Finally, we decided to go to the go carts. We were probably 12th to 15th in line..waited 30 minutes, watched the guy yell at the young children, and left. Not to mention, never got to ride. They did let us switch out our tickets for rock climbing. Once an employee got there (he was talking to his friend for a while and told us to hold on) that was pretty fun. There were no paper towels or soap in the handicap bathroom where I took my young toddler to change his diaper. My husband also had to ask around for a Cue ball to play pool which took some time because no one seemed to know where it was.

On another note, completely aside from FunWorks, the Krystal's beside it was out of Diet Coke, Sprite, and Fries. So maybe I'm just having a bad day..

This is a fun place for smaller kids, but their go carts are about 5-10 years old and they drive like it. They are not very fast and car number 13 is about half the speed of the others. We still had fun, but don't think it's a high speed track!

Went on a Sunday at opening. Ended up staying 5 hours! First a game of bowling. That was an hour for 32.50 on a family lane. Shoes were about 3.25 each times five people. They have different bowling stations that cost more or less depending on privacy or glow in the dark, etc.
Then we did the LazerTag. 8.00 per person for a 10 minute game. We had so much fun but it was VERY hot in there. I've been to other LazerTag and they were hot too. Would still do it again though!
Then we ate at the snack bar. All of the burgers and sandwiches were good, as well as the fries and drinks. We played darts for free and watched TV on HUGE screens in the table area. Plenty of fans and cold air to cool down in.
We then played video games. We had a ton of fun, but let's face it: games are expensive. You go into it knowing that and compared to other activities it's not that bad. We bought the 1.00 rewards card and got free "tokens" for every 20/50/100 we spent. You use the card to swipe at each game and your winning tickets are added to the card to buy treats and toys at the counter.
It started raining very hard, so we didn't get to ride the go karts or go to the building next door to skate. We will save those for next time!
