If you can climb over a 100 steps you must see the view. The shop is expensive however, we bought a pelican as a gift.

Such a nice attraction! You can go into a building and watch a movie before visiting the other buildings, which gives a little info on the whole lighthouse area. We drove in after 6 pm and there was no fee. Nice views of sunset, lighthouse and the beach. Fun to watch surfers, parasailing surfers, fishermen, and boats. Worth the drive down from Daytona!

Took a day trip to this location and enjoyed it very much. Reading about the history and the location and about the lighthouse was very interesting. I would recommend walking shoes for this trip!

Naturally, I seek dog friendly areas when planning an outing. This dog friendly beach hit the very top of my list. My criteria for this choice was close parking proximity to the beach since we were going to set up a tent and welcome the summer in style.

The lighthouse is a must see if you are in the area. Post card perfect and not a blade of grass out of place. Wonderful museum with history of the building of the lighthouse and many lenses on display. Gift shop has plenty of ideas for any shopper and are reasonably priced. If you are in poor health do not climb up the lighthouse. Very nice view up there, bring oxygen. Exhibits are ok also
