My family visited the Lighthouse in Ponce Inlet, FL (20-30) minutes from Daytona Beach, FL. Get ready from some climbing before you get to the top of the lighthouse but the view is fantastic when you get to the top. We drove in after 6 pm and there was no fee. Nice views of sunset, lighthouse and the beach. Fun to watch surfers, parasailing surfers, fishermen, and boats. Worth the drive down from Daytona!
Took a day trip to this location and enjoyed it very much. Reading about the history and the location and about the lighthouse was very interesting. I would recommend walking shoes for this trip!

If you are in poor health do not climb up the lighthouse. Very nice view up there, bring oxygen. Exhibits are ok also
The park is beautiful, but unfortunately was not open yet as we were there too early. Great place for families and folks who love history!
