My friend and I went on the expedition and had a great time. Tim did an outstanding job with our brief kayaking lesson and leading us on our tour. We saw Manatee up close and toured the mangrove. I would recommend this tour to anyone! Well worth the money

Best kayak excursion ever. Personal attention to detail was excellent. Always taking only a small group is great, especially for thonse who have never kayaked, it allows personal instruction and assistance. Fun and eduational too.

Although it was warm, a stiff wind was blowing when we set forth on our kayaking adventure in late March. My daughter and I are not musclebound paddlers, and I had visions of fighting our way back to the launch point against the breeze. Not to worry. Guide Tim led us downwind and then turned into the mangroves within which... More

We were a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 children, ages 6 and 12). None of us had ever kayaked before. We all had a wonderful time. We weren't sure if we would be able to see any manatees since it was such a cool week but Tim knew exactly what to look for and we saw many. Also... More

I took my 17 year old son and his friend on an afternoon tour. It was a great time. Tim was very friendly and informative and put everyone at ease in our group. The trip itself was informative and scenic. Tim managed to find us quite a few manatees that swam right up to the Kayaks. We all agreed was... More

Our kayak trip with Fin Expeditions was a highlight of our trip to Cocoa Beach. Tim is a very personable, organized and thorough leader. I cannot swim and am usually nervous on water, but Tim was very reassuring and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. We were disappointed not to see any dolphins or manatees but we understand that... More

My sister and I went on a Fin Expedition and had a great time. Tim took the time to ensure all kayakers knew the basics before even getting in the water, after in the water he was educating the group about the environment; the types of mangroves, other plants and trees. He was very knowledgeable with the types of wildlife... More

As experienced kayakers from the northwest, we thought it would be fun to try it in the warm waters of Florida. We were visiting the area with our grown daughter, friends from Norway and their 12 year old daughters. I had set the trip up with Tim, the owner, by email and found him very easy to communicate with. He... More

We stayed in Melbourne area the first weekend of February for the Marathon. Took this expedition and was very pleased. First time kyaking for one of us and Tim was a great instructor. He made everyone feel very comfortable no matter their skill level. Tim has a great deal of knowledge and shared it throughout the trip. The areas he... More

Tim was very nice and knowledgable during our tour. We saw a few manatee. Not many birds were around but the Mangrove area was cool. There was more kayaking then I expected to do but, I had a strong partner with me. I was kinda tired at the end. I think this trip would be optimal in spring and summer.... More
