Took panoramic shots of the area while in the tower. Lots to see--even gators on the side of the road in the canals---our tour bus driver pointed them out as we sped by. ;)

This is the first stop of the bus tour.
When I did this tour when the shuttle was still flying, I got really close and could take pictures.
Now the tour stops short and the launch platform is too far away to appreciate.
You can take a lift up a 4 storeys viewing area but not worth it.

We were about to go up on the observation Gantry and see (from a distance) where the space shuttles were launched, my son loved it!

The time on the bus did not help our opinion of this stop. Not much to see inside the building. It was colder and windy and the views were okay.

Kids ran all the way up, and all the way down. We had some (crazy expensive) ice cream at the bottom. Got some awesome camera shots from the top.

A bus from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex takes you to the Observation Gantry. The bus goes past the huge Vehicle Assembly Building. A video on the bus explained the surrounding area.
