This is a small, quiet and well kept park with excellent hiking. There are two nice loops, we did one on each day. The Torreya Challenge was a little more back country, but both were beautiful. The campground is lovely, and not crowded when we were there. The restrooms were very clean.

This is a beautiful state park - you won't be disappointed. It's still close to town that you can run and grab something to eat or do laundry, etc. (there may be a laundry machine at the park, I'm not sure). There's a playground for the children that is well maintained. The sky is open and full of stars if... More

We had a wonderful stay at Torreya SP. Sadly we had only camped for one night. I wish I had booked the following night as well. Me and my family (of 5) slept comfortably in the Yurt. We actually all fall in love with the Yurt. It was very cozy and clean. Highly recommended!!

We camped for 2 nights and found the campground to be very nice. The grounds were clean, large camping sites. Not your typical Florida campground.

If you like to hike or primitive camp, this is the park for you. I camped in a pop-up camper. There is water and electricity and OK restrooms. Although there is a river, there is no swimming.

One of the most well kept State Parks in Florida. Clean grounds, educated Rangers, awesome sites. The Campground is very quiet and quaint.

We take the motorhome here semi-regularly. It's different in that the topography is more like Tennessee than North Florida. The vista overlooking the Apalachicola river basin is stunning. It's more appealing to me in the cooler months; this is the real Florida.

One of many great Florida State parks. The drive to the park is scenic and has a lot of major elevation changes. This is a great destination for bikers; the route to get to the park is mostly country back roads.
