Stepping Stones has lots of fun exhibits that younger children will always enjoy. I actually volunteer there, so I spend quite a lot of time with the kids, and they always seem to be pretty happy. If you go, be sure to check out the Energy Lab! More

I brought my niece and nephew here. They absolutely love it. We spent the entire day at the museum. I had to drag them out. More

Our daughter is now 18 months, and she first went at 15 months. First we were in a < 3 years part with balls / slide / lots of room to roam around area. Our daughter really loved it...until...she discovered the water area! There is a totally amazing section with flowing water & fountains with loads of brightly coloured plastic... More

I feel lucky to have this place so close to home. We have had memberships. I'm bummed that my family has out grown this place for the most part. An absolute must see if you are passing through Norwalk with small children. It's always a good day when you tell you child to "go ahead and touch!". You need to... More

Consider a children's museum membership with reciprocal membership to other children's museums. However, do not purchase it here. It is less expensive at other museums such as Kid City in Middletown or The Children's Museum in West Hartford. You can then use it at Stepping Stones, along with many other museums all over the country. More

Dear kumpet k, Thank you for review. We appreciate your feedback. I apologize that you had a less than satisfactory visit to the museum. Vacation weeks and holidays are very popular at the museum and we do tend to see large crowds on such days. Normal weekdays in the afternoon tend to be our slowest time periods. I hope you'll...
