This was like stepping back in time, except for the ability to get sound on our FM radio! You still have the option of using the traditional speakers as well. Sound and picture quality were very good. Do not miss the opportunity to eat at the snack bar. The prices are very reasonable and the burgers are awesome! Don't miss... More

This is one of the remaining Drive-Ins of yesteryear. The old style snackbar in the middle still smells of popcorn. Metal encased speakers hang from posts (or you can choose to use your FM radio ... Boo). Kids lie on car roofs or hoods until it gets too cold or they fall asleep. Reminds me of the 60's when I... More

One of the last real-time drive-ins in this country. Nostalgic, but they have first-run movies, too!

Living in Montrose, we have the opportunity to visit the Drive In on many occasions each summer. What a gift it is to our community! We love piling the kids in the car and heading off for a wonderful warm summer evening. This one of a kind family owned facility is immaculate with a nice not-too-overpriced snack bar, and a... More

My niece was visiting from out of town and had never been to a drive-in movie. She LOVED IT! The Star has the best concessions. Really good burgers. Everything nice and clean. Great experience.

This is the best summertime fun you can have. Get there just before dusk to get the sweet spots. Order your hamburger and fries, kick back and enjoy two movies!!! Remember in the fall, take a blanket to cuddle up with or take your sweetie if he is still sweet :-)

We were in Montrose in the summer. We decided to take the family to the Drive Inn.. It was a blast! Very clean concession stand was really good! It took me back to my childhood.. Now my kids get to see what a Drive Inn Theatre is actually like! I recommend this to everyone especially with kids they will love... More

Lots of fun, looked as if the place had just been renovated. something different to do the night before exploring The Black Canyon. Its easy to get to right off 50 but a a couple of blocks away for peace and quiet.

Reasonably priced entrance price, less than walk-in theaters. The concession stand has an aroma that spurs childhood memories of coming out to see a movie in Mom's huge Ford Galaxy. Pam has been running this as long as I can remember, and her staff is always friendly, helpful, and efficient considering the quality of the grub. Hand-made burgers, great fries,... More

Was really fun to go to the drive in. Only suggestion would be to put in more bathrooms :)
