We had a great family day at the zoo on a cooler May Day. It is such a nice setting for families and for the animals that are living there.

What a great zoo! They have done some updates, and I highly recommend this facility! Feeding the giraffes is a great time.

From the absolutely best interactive giraffe experience to the magnificent scenery, this zoo is by far my favorite I have ever been to. The staff were wonderful and helpful, the exhibits were great, and all of the animals looked well cared for. My favorite part of the zoo is the walk - you're walking uphill, downhill, all along the side... More

The exhibits were clean and interesting, spacious and natural looking. The zoo obviously takes good care of the animals. The elephant and giraffe exhibits were huge with indoor facilities for their care. All the exhibits I saw were setup with the health and well being of the animals as the priority and the visitor experience was also excellent. This "Mountain Zoo"... More

A friend and I went to this zoo (without kids) and were very impressed. Great habitats, lots of animals, well run, clean, good gift shop. We had a blast! Would have loved going on the sky ride but we were not dressed for the cool weather. You can get up close and personal with most of the animals. The kids... More

A fantastic Zoo in every way...especially once you reach the top and it's ALL downhill going forward. The interaction with the giraffes is a staple and a must for all who visit. Bring some cash to buy some cookies to feed them. The cash will come in hand for the merry-go-round as well. It's $1 per kid to ride, and... More

This is a very nice zoo for a medium sized city. The location is fantastic and the variety of animals is very good. The staff is friendly and the price is decent. Well worth a visit if you are visiting Colorado Springs.

Took my 11 yr old for a quick visit this weekend for 3 hrs. Bought the combo ticket so we could ride the sky ride chairlift that overlooks the zoo. Some snacks up top, bathroom, picnic tables, play area and overlook area. The sky ride is nice but not necessary :) We fed the giraffes first for $2 (great big... More
