We had a guide Sarah who was so fun, knowledgable and really loves her job! The views were excellent and the trail was easy for the moderate athlete.

The x-country trails are wonderfully groomed and there are all levels of trails from which to choose -- easy to difficult. The fees are very reasonable and there are numerous trails.

There are two Nordic Centers in Breckenridge. It can be confusing. One is known as the Breckenridge Gold Run Nordic Center and is just off Highway 9 outside of town. The Nordic center has groomed trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Must purchase a ticket to use trails. Bus service drops you close or take gondola and a very short hike to get there.

We really enjoyed skiing at Breckenridge Nordic Center. We spent three of our 5 skiing days there. We saw beautiful vistas from the runs across Ski Hill Rd, hard work to get ghere, but worth it. Wonderful facility and very helpful staff. It is located close to downtown Breckenridge, but you feel like you are miles from town in a beautiful setting. We had a awesome teacher for cross country lessons as it was the first time my wife and I and our 3 teenagers had tried cross country skate skiing. I highly recommend it.
