At a recommendation we visited Rotta Winery to taste their wines made from Black Monukka grapes. The lady who helped us, Gale, was great. The wine was great and I left with several bottles of their various wines which I can't wait to share with friends.

If you like red wine, go tasting at the Rotta Winery in Templeton. The reds were wonderful, although pretty expensive. This is one of the 3 oldest wineries in the Paso Robles wine area.

Friendly. Competent. Patient and nice to talk to about the surrounding area. Lovely atmosphere. We bought several bottles of wine (5). Each was excellent. The writer of this review got home called Rotta and ordered a case of Muscat Canelli. Great wine.

A small very friendly facility. You get 12 tastings for $5 and although a number of the wines were not for me we came away with having had a great experience, a couple of bottles of good wind reasonably priced and some great recipes to use the wine with. We love Rotta because it's a Paso original and still family-run...no big corporation...the staff is either family or like family so are enthusiastic, fun and friendly, the tasting is only $3 for 12 or so wines and they have some good affordable wines. Plus they are not far from downtown and are the only winery making black monukka dessert wine!... More

Very good wine, friendly staff, nicely priced wine, great place to go. Don't miss it when wine tasting on Vineyard Dr. in Templeton.

Not a new flashy winery, but simple old world style.

Old winery with a 3 legged cat running about. The wine was fine but definitely not worth more than $15 a bottle.

Super awesome place! Gale was "sexty-five" and happy to be alive! We super loved her and she made our day... Nothing else came close to customer service that day!!!!
