Probably the nicest combination of wine, tasting room, restaurant and views in the Temecula Wine Country. A great selection of wines to chose from. Sorry we didn't have time to get back for dinner, but we will next time!

The best reds we've had in the area. There's a covered patio just outside the tasting room, with a fair amount of seating, but it was all occupied at 2pm on an early summer Sunday. However, there's another covered tasting area a slight walk down - you can't hear the guitarist, but it's closer to the vines and maybe easier...

I used the title "mixed feeling" because that's exactly what I have about Leonesse Cellars. My husband and I were members for quite a while and enjoyed their wines and their winery. We particularly like the members tasting area where we could get away from the crazy weekend crowds and relax with a nice glass of wine and a picnic...

We had a late lunch/early dinner at Leonesse and it was a pleasant surprise. My husband and I were guests of our neighbors (we live in close-by Murrieta) who had been to the winery before the restaurant opened. We had the chopped chicken salad, a Greek salad pizza, side order of vegetable medley and a to-die-for beef marsala. The wines...

This is The place to be on the wine trail. Wow what a great tasting room with super friendly wine consultants pouring and advising. There is a fee for the tasting/ You must go to the restaurant. Spend some time there. Have great music and scenery. Great menu. For lunch we had the Fries Don't Lie.French Fries for an appetizer...

This is the first winery and vineyard that I had ever visited in Southern California. I was very skeptical that great wines could come out of the area between Los Angeles and San Diego. Leonesse sure proved me wrong. From our first visit when we joined their wine club and up through our second visit last week this Place is...

First and foremost, Leonesse Cellars is a BEAUTIFUL winery. This was one of the wineries I most wanted to visit and even was gifted a membership (obviously I would be financially responsible to continue said membership). My girlfriend and I finally visited the winery over the weekend and can only imagine how much more breathtaking it looks when the vineyards...

This was the first winery we every went to when we moved to California. The only thing we could remember about our experience was the rose wine that brought up feelings of sitting outside in the cool mountain air while a babbling brook ran over our feet. Ok, we might have had a bit too much to drink but regardless...

We have been going to Leonesse Cellars for several years and are part of the all-red wine members club. Their red wines are exceptional and their dry whites are good as well. The hosts and hostesses are always informed and share wine-making information with us. They even offer us wines that aren't on the pour list! Their Sunday lunches are...
