Their humble beginnings really turned me on to S.C. They had a trailer set up on their property on the side of the road. They were creative & fun, their was a vision of creativity that was evident in the manner in which they set up this cowboy tasting room trailer. At that time I fell in love with S.C.... More

we did a one hour tour of the vineyard and wine tasting combo. definitely could have passed on the one hour tour. the property is just not big enough to have anything to really tour. the tasting part was very slow and dragged out a bit. we ended up taking 2 hours to finish everything. definitely feel that you can... This is a lovely "all in one" lodging/restaurant/spa/wine tasting resort. The service was outstanding, to state the least. The restaurant menu superb. Did not stay there or do spa. Wines are good, not great, but good.

Through the research I did before heading to wine country this place seemed inviting. It wasn't nearly what it was cracked up to be. The wine servers were just that - servers, they weren't very friendly. The wines were only so-so.

We had a great guide - very informative. Beautiful grounds. Nice area and education for wine tasting. I would have given this an "excellent" review if the wine tasting allowed for more variety of wine for us to choose as our tastings and to try more then 4 wines.

My husband and I had not intended on stopping at this winery but after a few locals recommended it, we decided to drop by. We had originally stopped at another of the vineyards and while it was beautiful, we found the pourers to be a little "stuffy". So we decided to take check out the locals recommendation. We weren't sure... More

Lunch last week was a relaxed affair, with many thanks going to Sean the waiter who saw that everything went smoothly for us and apid grat attention to detail. Very reasonably priced and well presented all in all a good day out.

We spent an hour tasting wines. Once we figured out what to do and found the balcony, we enjoyed the variety of wines we tried. The pourers were friendly and generous. But, they don't do a lot on the front end to help you get started.

My wife and I arranged a getaway to celebrate our 28th anniversary. We chose Temecula and some wine tasting. We stayed at and enjoyed the amenities at Southcoast Winery and Resort and we stayed in one of thier "Villas". Everything was new and pristine. Our stay was during a time when the vines are in hibernation; no fruit, no leaves... More

I have been coming to the South Coast Winery since they opened their individual villas to stay in among their vineyards. I have enjoyed some of their wines, eaten at their Vineyard Rose Restaurant and frequented the recently closed restaurant in Costa Mesa. I was excited to visit again this past Valentine's Day weekend. We decided to visit on Friday... More
