I brought my nephews, aged 7 & 10, on a weekend. Although the place was packed, my nephews enjoyed themselves. The center is full of activities and exhibits for kids. There are numerous interactive activities, providing abundant learning opportunities for the children. My nephews specially liked the "grocery section" where they were made aware of the concept of recycling and protection... More

Even a child not interested in anything will be interested in something here. A fun day and lots of things get through. A must do! More

I went with my 9 year old son for the first time last week. I wasn't expecting much. However, the place is bigger than it looks from the outside. There were tons of hands on exhibits that kept both me and my son entertained. I especially enjoyed the supermarket section up on the second floor. My son had a lot... More

My friends and I went for the Star Wars exhibit. Considering the cost to first get into the center and then to get into the exhibit I found it very overpriced. The exhibit was very small and probably only 1/2 was related to the actual film (although the props and costumes that they did have were excellent). After we looked... More

There is a lot to do here, but try to avoid going while school trips go. I enjoyed it a lot, look foward to going again More

This place is a nice place for kids who are 4 years and older. The activities here require a bit of science knowledge. So if your child is 1-2 years old, they won't know what to do. The admission is just kinda expensive in my point of view $14.95 for adult and $12 for kids who are 3-12 years old.... More

I agree with the gentlemen form Lancaster. I attended the last day of the Star Wars Exhibit and the place was a madhouse. Not only was it packed but staff with red shirts were not very visible. My thought were if there were to be an emergency such as an earthquake there would have been pandemonium and probably some tragic... More

There's a lot going on - - the permanent exhibit has tons of hands-on activities that parents will want their children to spend time with, and there are simultaneously a couple of very cool temporary exhibits (extra admission price) that are drawing big crowds. Go early or go late to get parking and avoid longest lines. It pays to ask... More

Family of 4 (kids ages 7 and 5 1/2) went on a Thursday. Had no idea it would be such a nightmare! It was the tail end of Spring Break so I assumed there would be a SMALL bit of tourists and then locals/school groups. WRONG. It was packed to the point that I can't imagine a fire Marshall would... Typically science centers aren't my cup of tea, but this place is really great. Some of the attractions are a bit dated, but there are also some very good newer options. You will really like this! More
